SHARE Paper Published in BMJ
One of the hardest parts in carrying out research is recruiting the right people into the project. Some studies end before they even get started due to a lack of willing and suitable participants. On the other side many patients are very interested in taking part in research, particularly if it is to do with a condition that they suffer from, but don't know how to find out about any research opportunities. This is why there is a need for a research register like SHARE. We help match the right people to the right project which benefits patients, researchers and global health. Carrying out research projects helps improve treatments, and discover new ones, for a host of different medical conditions worldwide. SHARE has successfully recruited willing participants to over 40 studies already, with the number rising steadily as SHARE continues to grow.
