UNIQUE - How musculoskeletal conditions impact on peoples’ work

Researchers at Aberdeen University are looking for people who are in paid employment and have a diagnosis of osteoarthritis or another non-inflammatory musculoskeletal condition (e.g. fibromyalgia, joint hypermobility). They are looking to understand how musculoskeletal conditions impact on peoples’ work. To do this, they are inviting people to take part in telephone interviews as part of a research project called the UNIQUE Study.

These interviews will help make changes to an existing online programme which provides support to people working with arthritis. As part of developing this programme, they would like to invite people to share their experiences of work and how it is affected by their musculoskeletal condition.

If you have osteoarthritis or another non-inflammatory musculoskeletal condition (e.g. fibromyalgia, joint hypermobility) and are in paid employment, researchers would like to invite you to take part in a telephone interview about your experiences at work that will last approximately one hour.

Please tell us a little more about yourself to see whether you may be suitable for this study.
