SHARE bears no responsibility for the health and safety of individuals who use the SHARE website or the SHARE App. Should an individual feel unwell, they must seek medical advice immediately. SHARE staff cannot access individual’s personal electronic health records and as such are not aware if an individual is at risk of any health condition.   

Researchers using your blood samples will produce reports and publications of what they find out. However, because researchers don’t know who’s blood they are using (the samples are de-identified), you won’t be identified in these reports and SHARE or the Researcher will not provide information to you about your own individual results. Please see our Privacy Policy for further information.  

It is possible that information about you that comes from research on your blood samples could be important and helpful to doctors treating you in the future. If that is the case, it may be appropriate at some point in the future for this information to be added to your medical records.

Whilst we try to ensure that the website is normally available 24 hours a day, we shall not be liable if for any reason the site is unavailable at any time or for any period. Access to the website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control.
