What do researchers think of and want from the Scottish Health Research Register (SHARE): a qualitative study

Do you carry out health research in human participants in Scotland and would you consider using a recruitment service to recruit study participants? If the answer is yes, we would like to hear your views!

What would be involved:

  • You will be offered a £25 shopping voucher as a thank you for your time.
  • Take part in a 30-minute interview about your experience of and expectations to a recruitment service for human health research.
  • Views will be treated in confidence and be presented in aggregated anonymised form in a written report.

The study is being conducted independently of SHARE to better understand what researchers need and want from a recruitment service to inform the SHARE Management Board and CSO. You may have used SHARE, but this is not essential to take part, we would just like to hear you views on this type of service.

If you are interested and/or want more information, contact the study team:

This study is led by researchers from the Health Services Research Unit, University of Aberdeen  - Professor Shaun Treweek ([email protected])  and Dr Hanne Bruhn ([email protected]).
