PROMS

Researchers at St. Andrews University are conducting a study to see if participants would be happy to fill out Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMS) for public health research. PROMS are health questionnaires that ask about your own health and symptoms. They wish to bring together existing information about people’s own health and life circumstances and add people’s own opinions about their health to this evidence.

They would like to invite you to take part in an individual interview where you would be asked to share your thoughts about filling out health questionnaires and sharing this data for public health research. They would also like to find out your views on sharing health information using smart devices and if you would consider allowing researchers to collect health data such as heart rate or step count directly from your phone or device.

The interview would last about 45 minutes and is proposed to take place via telephone or Skype.
