COVIDLife Survey

Researchers at the University of Edinburgh want to find out how coronavirus (COVID-19) is affecting your health and wellbeing, social and home life, and employment. The information you provide will be analysed by the Generation Scotland team at the University of Edinburgh, their research partners, and NHS colleagues. Your information will be used anonymously and will not be passed onto any 3rd parties.

The Government has introduced measures, such as social distancing and self-isolating. They are designed to limit the spread of COVID-19 and to help our NHS cope. These measures are necessary to save lives, but they come at their own cost.

Every person and household will be experiencing the effects of COVID-19 differently. Some will be coping well, others not. After this pandemic has passed, some will be able to pick up again easily, others not. The researchers are asking you to answer questions, so that they can understand how different people and different families are coping.

Some questions will be specifically about COVID-19. Other questions will ask about your circumstances (e.g. your job) and how these have changed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
